1. Plates for construction steel structure:



After years of development, the domestic construction steel structure industry has become a large-scale industry, with the annual consumption of heat coil between 3 and 4 million tons. Steel structure is widely used in high-rise buildings, airports, sports venues, exhibition halls and other buildings, the manufacturing raw materials are mainly medium thickness plate, hot coil as auxiliary. There are two main uses of hot coil in steel structure manufacturing: one is useful for welding structure; The other is open plate, and the thickness of more than 6mm specification instead of part of the plate. North and East China are the areas with intensive construction steel structure industry in China. Hangzhou Xiaoshan area in East China is the largest steel structure manufacturing distribution center in China, accounting for more than 50% of the domestic output. There are more than 100 steel structure factories in Xiaoshan area, among which Hangxiao Steel structure is the largest construction steel structure manufacturer in China. The rest such as Baoye, Jinggong, Dadi and other manufacturers are among the best in China.



Because the steel structure industry is produced according to order, the proportion of hot coil is small and the monthly consumption is not fixed, and the capital is generally tight, there are high requirements for the quality of kaiping. Therefore, manufacturers in the steel structure industry generally adopt the method of direct supply of medium thickness plate raw materials from steel mills and purchase of hot coil raw materials through dealers.



2. Welded pipe plate:



Coil plate is used in welding pipe industry to weld large diameter (800mm or more) spiral and straight seam steel pipe, steel pipe is mainly used for oil, natural gas, urban plumbing, gas pipe network and other general fluid transmission pipeline laying. Because the main domestic pipe network has been built and formed, large welded pipe after many years of consumption heat, in recent years gradually cooled down, the current steel pipe plants generally exist insufficient operating rate, raw material order instability phenomenon, the industry hot coil consumption is declining year by year, the annual consumption of about 1.5 ~ 2 million tons.



3. Shipbuilding board:



Hot coil is used in all buildings above deck in ship manufacturing, so the quality of products and opening is not high. Due to the convenient river transportation and sea transportation, East China is an area with intensive shipbuilding industry in China. There are more than 300 large and small shipyards, mainly concentrated in Taizhou, Ningbo and Zhoushan Islands. The annual consumption of hot coil is about 1.2 million tons.



4, general structure plate for automobile and agricultural vehicle:



General structure plate for automobile is mainly concentrated in domestic truck manufacturing enterprises, such as FAW Group and affiliated enterprises, parts manufacturers, supply a variety of general structure steel for truck, the total domestic consumption of about 500,000 tons in 2005.



Hot coil is mainly used in the production of agricultural vehicles, such as tricycles, tractors and other vehicles, and focuses on the thickness of 1.5mm, 1.8mm and 2.0mm three specifications, among which the thickness of 1.5mm, 1.8mm hot coil consumption accounts for more than 80%. As there are very few domestic manufacturers producing hot coils with a thickness of less than 2.0mm, manufacturers are mainly importing them at present. As the largest agricultural vehicle production base in China, Shandong Province has a number of large agricultural vehicle groups such as Juli, Panther, Shifeng and Futian. The annual consumption of domestic agricultural vehicle hot rolls is about 300,000 tons.



5. Boards for other industries:



In addition to the consumption of hot rolled coil in the above industries is more concentrated, in other industries such as machinery manufacturing, cabinet manufacturing, maintenance, hardware accessories and other industries consumption is the largest, but also the most dispersed, according to statistics in these industries consumption of hot coil is about 16 million tons, circulation channels for all through dealers distribution.
